What browser are you using?

What browser are you using and why?

I am using IE 6.0 for all standard browsing purposes. I use netscape for PayPal and online banking because I have it tweaked for security purposes.

I also have multiple versions of IE and Netscape installed for design testing.

Re: What browser are you using?

Firefox because it's - well - light.

I think most people here will use some variety of open sauce browser (mainly Firefox or others in the Gecko family, but I'm sure there are a few Konqueror users out there... somewhere...). If not them, then Opera. You may be unique in using IE6. So unique that I'm suspicious of whether you're a real person or not.

Re: What browser are you using?

54% of my site's users are running IE6 so when designing I do tend to use it a lot. My browser of choice is Firefox mainly due to the extra security and the excellent adsense plugin which is available for it. Of course I do also have IE7, Opera and Safari installed, but rarely do I use them.

Re: What browser are you using?

I had my suspicions, I just wanted a chance to post a screen shot to see if anyone noticed that I HAVE NO START MENU.

Sorry. I am a bit high on user interface currently.

I had noticed actually but refrained from asking where it has gone. I can also never understand why people put their taskbar at the top of the screen

Yeah, I was kinda curious about that. But then, I tend to go through all kinds of phases with my windowmanager/shell too. I'm in something of an put-everything-where-I-can-see-it mood, with a little clean-and-bright thrown in.
