Here's my wishlist for the YC APIs. Post your own wishes, or comment on others'.
  • Get a tree of forum sections
  • Get list of last posted on threads
  • Get thread post data in HTML as well as BBCode
  • Fix PM posting bug (usernames don't appear in the control panel)
  • Fix dumping index.php of yc.com on some requests

(I know you've got a lot to do callum, these are just suggestions )

This is the biggest request for me. It seems that certain characters like "?" cause that error.

New bug. Instead of sending unicode in the XML, it encodes the characters - which is a bit of a weird thing to do.

Can somebody confirm this?

This will be fixed by using $_POST functionality, which will be available in the new API.
As for those requests, every single one will be implemented.

"Dying for it"? Yeah, I'll say you kinda need it

Anyway, the point of this post. It's been a while since I've worked with vB, but since we're still on 3.6.*, I'd be glad to help you out CJ. I've done some pretty extensive work with vB in the past.
