My name is Sierra and I recently joined YoungCoders. I love programming, especially web programming and currently know PHP and RubyonRails. I just recently created my latest project/website: Throwpile.com. It is a social networking site that allows you to easily get updates of friends through photos, art, and any other types of images. I hope it takes a more art-oriented path soon, though. Check it out if you've got time.

I've made a few projects in the past, one being ecotopians.com which is a virtual pet site that has the wonderful theme of saving the planet!

So far I love this community. It is awesome and I can't wait to explore it more.

Nice sites! I like to save pictures from my users by allowing them to upload the picture then it grabs the picture's source code and parses it into base64 MIME, THEN, it puts it into the MySQL database. Just for security! =P
