Welcome I'm a newbie as well but I love what I'm doing already.

What I advise is get familiar with Python Language look up tuts on Youtube about Python. I created a very simple Python code just today.

And I consider it easy.

There's my two cents.

Welcome to YC!
If you could be more specific about why you want to learn programming, it would be easier for us to help you decide how you should go about learning to code. Python is a good place to start, but depending on your particular interests/needs there may be a more appropriate language.

Hi, and welcome to YC.

If you're just learning to code, I recommend the HeadFirst series highly. They've got great books that can teach you Java, PHP, MySQL, (X)HTML(5), CSS, etc., etc.
