Hello,

Can any one suggest which language is best for parallel programming in unix/linux platform.

1. I think it would better fit in general programming section.
2. I have no experience with parallel programing but I would probably take a look at APIs first. For example OpenCL and OpenMP (yes, I'm a lover of open source) but IDK, it may not fit your needs.

I would like to suggest you to start with C. Learn an assembler language - Intel would be best.

look at perl to work out processes and threads then move up to C then move up to Assembly IF NEEDED.
