Business Venture for a good programmer

Hi,

I am looking for a computer programmer who may be able to help me develop an idea i have for a piece of online poker software.

Unfortunately, i do not have any experience in computer programming and at this point I dont even know if developing this idea would even be possible.

Never the less, i know from reseaching the market my idea will take off and generate a good profit from doing so.

I am looking for a programmer who can who may be able to help me, for doing so I will be happy to strike a deal and offer an equity stake in the business.

This would be subject to some terms which I will not go in to now.

However, if your an experienced programmer, honest and integral. Please email me at iDeckPromotions@googlemail.com.

Thanks
Kris

For those of you who are new the programming arena looking to "make it big". Before you do such an offer you need to realize a few things.

a. You will do all the coding up front and have over your work before you make any money.
b. Nobody can honestly guarantee it will make money. Therefore promises to make you money are just to get you to do the work. If its truely a solid idea, the "client" if you will, can find a way to come up with the money to pay you.
c. "i know from reseaching the market my idea will take off and generate a good profit from doing so" Doing research is different from marketing the site. While both are important, the marketing is what will bring in the cash!
d. This user has 1 post here. It's different if you know the other person and believe in their marketing skills.

Hi all,

I can understand that points made above by the forum moderator. Could I ask if there are any programmer who would like to give me a quote for the work which may need to be done?

Please feel free to email me in this case.

Thanks again!

I'm not sure if coders can give you quotes if they don't know what is involved. So you may need to expand a little more about what the work will involve (without giving out your idea, if you believe it is important to keep that private).

Moving to the "Employment Area".

@iDeckPromotions
Just so you know. I was not targeting you as a person. Overtime one gains experience and knowledge and we are just making sure we protect our community. There is nothing to say that you are not a great trusting person I just want to make sure our members don't get suckered into something because we all know there are people out there who do it.

I suggest posting the scope of your project to see if you catch anybody interested. I understand a lot of people think they have the "key" feature to out sell everyone so you don't have to post EVERYTHING but I recommend posting as much information as possible.

@Umang.. Thanks, I guess I missed that it was in the wrong forum.
